Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a position of an object when movement of the object accompanied by a moving body stops while reducing electric power consumption in the object.SOLUTION: A position management system comprises a master machine installed in the moving body and a slave machine installed in the object which can move accompanied by the moving body. At least one of the master machine and the slave machine includes a position sensor for outputting positional information indicating a current position. The master machine includes an object information acquisition unit for acquiring object information including an object identifier from the slave machine, a movement determination unit for determining a movement state of the object accompanied by the moving body and a positional information transmission unit for transmitting object positional information indicating a position of the object when movement of the object accompanied by the moving body stops to a server on the basis of the positional information, the object information and a determination result of the movement state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
