Abstract:
To detect a position of a terminal device at a place where position detection accuracy using a GPS is low or GPS is unavailable.SOLUTION: A plurality of low electric power transmitters 44 are arranged in a prescribed area. Radio field intensity at a place away from each of the low electric power transmitters 44 by a predetermined distance is defined as reference intensity. The reference intensity, an identification code of the low electric power transmitters 44 and position coordinates are registered in a control server 12. A terminal device 16 transmits radio field intensity and an identification code 26 of a radio wave received from the low electric power transmitters 44 to the control server 12. The control server 12 calculates a distance between the terminal device 16 and the low electric power transmitters 44. If an error is smaller than GPS, a position of the low electric power transmitter 44 is determined as a position of the terminal device 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
