Abstract:
To provide a position measuring system with which it is possible to reliably obtain the position tracking of a tracker in the same coordinate system and measure the three-dimensional position of tip of a measuring probe attached to the tracker in the same coordinate system.SOLUTION: The position measuring system comprises: a light irradiation unit 10; a tracker 30 for receiving a laser beam outputted from the light irradiation unit 10 and detecting the position and attitude of its own; a measuring probe 3 attached to the tracker 30; an auxiliary tracker 20 for receiving a laser beam outputted from the light irradiation unit 10 and detecting the position of its own; and a control unit for acquiring the initial position B of the auxiliary tracker 20 relative to the reference coordinate system GW of the light irradiation unit 10 and the position A of the tracker 30, converting the coordinate of position A of the tracker 30 to a position in a relative reference coordinate system GB, with the initial position B of the auxiliary tracker 20 serving as an origin, and computing, on the basis of the attitude of the tracker 30, the three-dimensional position PA of tip of the measuring probe 3 in the relative reference coordinate system GB.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
