Abstract:
To provide a positional relationship estimation system, etc., with which it is possible to more accurately estimate a positional relationship.SOLUTION: A positional relationship estimation system includes at least one processor, and estimates the positional relationship of a portable instrument capable of transmitting/receiving a radio wave relative to a host vehicle that has an antenna unit mounted in plurality thereto that is capable of transmitting/receiving multiple kinds of polarized radio waves. The processor is constituted so as to execute acquiring influence information that a reflection object around the host vehicle that reflects radio waves affects the estimation of the positional relationship. The processor is constituted so as to execute defining, for each type of polarization, the degree of contribution of the radio wave received by the antenna unit to the estimation of a positional relationship so as to correspond to the influence information. The processor is constituted so as to execute acquiring received radio wave information regarding the radio wave transmitted from the portable instrument and received by the antenna unit in relation to the degree of contribution.
