Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a positioning device for cutting edges of a pair of disk knives of a cutting device for cutting paper web in the longitudinal direction thereof capable of quickly and accurately position the cutting edge.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with sliders 6, 9 for carrying disk knives 4, 5, rails 7, 11, 33 for supporting these sliders, a sensor 31 movable in parallel with a route of the sliders, and a slider driving device. A distance between the cutting edge 19 of the disk knife and a fixed mark 34 is obtained by the sensor.
