Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce most preferably the errors of the center-of-gravity position and inclination of an IC caused by the curve of a lead. CONSTITUTION:The coordinates in determined positions 121a-1212a near the base end parts of leads 121-1212 picked up are measured, and on the basis of the measured coordinates, the coordinate of center-of-gravity position G and inclination theta of an IC 2 are operated and calculated. Since the coordinate of center-of-gravity position and inclination of the IC are operated by measuring the coordinates in determined positions near the base end parts of the leads, the influence of the curve, when the lead is curved, is reduced, compared with a conventional case of measuring the coordinate of the top end position of the lead.
