Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of a semiconductor pellet by holding the pellet with positioning members approaching to and isolating from each other by the normal and reverse rotations of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:Guide grooves 3, 3' are formed at both sides of a pellet placing base on a board 1. Pellet positioning members 5, 5' are provided in the grooves 3, 3'. Clockwise and counterclockwise screws 6, 7 are provided on a shaft 8 driven by a motor 9 which rotates normally and reversely. The projecting shafts 12, 15 of the screws 10, 11 screwed into the screws 6, 7 are engaged with the members 4, 4'. When the motor 9 is rotated, the members 4, 4' approach to and isolate from each other. Accordingly, the pellets of various sizes can be accurately held.
