To provide a positioning device repeatedly usable, while coping with a drill bit of various diametrical dimensions.
A boring auxiliary tool 20 comprises a plurality of claw parts 50 for positioning the drill bit 7 when stating boring and surrounding and holding this drill bit 7 so that the drill bit 7 is not dislocated from a predetermined position when boring a hole, and these claw parts 50 can vary a dimension for surrounding this drill bit 7 in response to a diameter of the drill bit 7.
