Abstract:

PURPOSE: To position a manipulator at a target point by determining a target cordinate positioning the manipulator by a digitizer by remote control with high accuracy even in a bad environmental condition such as high temperature.

CONSTITUTION: A work placed and conveyed on a conveyor 1 is displayed on a TV monitor 11 or a digitizer 12 by means of a television camera 13, and the striking position and the striking direction of an impact hammer 8 is indicated through a stylus pen. Based on the indication, the impact hammer 8 is moved to the striking position of the work to be positioned through a central control device. At this position, the impact hammer 8 is operated to strike a sprue or a riser for manufacturing castings to remove it.
