Title:
POSITIONING SYSTEM USING ABSOLUTE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002091569
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To easily compose a positioning system which uses plural absolute sensors.

In this positioning system 1, the detection signal of every absolute sensor 3 is fetched by a personal computer 5 constructing a controller via a PC card 6. The card 6 includes a sensor connection terminal 61, a converter 62 which converts the sensor detection signal into a digital position signal, a personal connection terminal 63, a sensor drive circuit 64 and a switching circuit 65. The terminal 61 is switched by the circuit 65 in response to the command given from the computer 5. Then a single sensor 3 is excited or driven by the circuit 64, and the sensor detection signal is converted into a digital position signal by the converter 62 and fetched by the computer 5. Thus, the system 1 using plural sensors 3 is easily composed by means of the card 6.
