Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive crankcase ventillation(PCV) device which causes malfunction in idling operation when it is once detached and not attached to an accurate position, for easy finding of unattachment of the PCV device.
SOLUTION: A plurality of projections 2d are formed on a valve main body 2 of a PCV valve 1. A groove 8b is formed on an inner wall of an attaching hole 8a of a head cover 8, correspondingly to the projections 2d suitable for the fitting thereof. After the PCV valve 1 is fitted into the attaching hole 8a through an O ring 9, it is rotated and fixed. A piping hose 5 should be detached priorly, otherwise the PCV valve 1 can not be detached. In the case of reassembling, an operator can easily find neglect of mounting the piping hose 5, because malfunction occurs at the engine.
