Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the wear of a sliding surface by spreading grease over the sliding surface well, while reducing the pressure-receiving area of a mast support bush as little as possible.
CONSTITUTION: In a mast supporting device having a mast support bush intervening between a mast support shaft set in a front-axle housing and a mast support secured to the lower portion of the back side of a mast and rotatably fitted around the mast support shaft, a grease groove 9 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the mast support bush 6 and an approximately S-shaped portion 9a is set in the circumferential center of the grease groove 9.
