Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for a secondary battery for manufacturing the lithium secondary battery that is superior in electromagnetic property and has a feature of a high capacity and a long life by using diadochite, and to provide its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: This positive electrode active material for the secondary battery contains diadochite that is expressed by a general formula as expressed by a formula (1), or a formula (3). Here, in the general formula of the formula (3), LiaFebMc(PO4)x(SO4)y(OH)z, M is an element of one or more selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ti, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Al, Ga, and Si, and 0≤a, c≤0.5, 1≤b≤2, and 0.5≤x, y, z≤1.5.
