Abstract:
To provide a positive electrode for a lithium-ion secondary battery with high volumetric energy density and sufficiently low composite layer volume resistance and interfacial resistance, a method for manufacturing the same, and a lithium-ion secondary battery having the positive electrode.SOLUTION: A positive electrode 10 of a lithium ion secondary battery includes an aluminum foil 12 and a composite material layer 14. The aluminum foil 12 has unevenness formed by etching on at least one surface. The composite material layer 14 is formed on the unevenness of the aluminum foil 12. The density of the composite material layer 14 is 2.0 to 4.0 g/cc, and the composite material layer 14 includes lithium metal oxide, CNTs, and a binder. The mass ratio of CNTs to the composite material layer 14 is 1.0 to 3.0%, the mass ratio of the binder to the mixture layer 14 is 0.5 to 2.0%, and the outer diameter of the CNTs is 8.0 to 12.0 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
