Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of accommodating an increase in output of a lithium ion secondary battery and attempting to achieve lower resistance at a positive electrode interface, and to provide a secondary battery utilizing the positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: In a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a multidirectional diffusion path layer for lithium ions is formed between a positive electrode configured of a positive electrode active material comprising a lithium metal composite oxide and an inactive coat formed on the surface of the positive electrode. In a secondary battery, the positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is utilized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
