Abstract:
To provide a positive charging type electrophotographic photoreceptor suppressing increase in a residual potential while ensuring the sensitivity.SOLUTION: A positive charging type electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises: a conductive substrate 1; an organic photosensitive layer (for example, a charge generating layer 2 and a charge transport layer 3, or a single-layered organic photosensitive layer 6) provided on the conductive substrate 1; and an inorganic protective layer 5 provided on the organic photosensitive layer and having a first region in which a group 13 element and oxygen are contained, the sum of element constitution ratios of the group 13 element and the oxygen to all elements constituting the inorganic protective layer 5 is 0.70 or more and the element constitution ratio (oxygen/group 13 element) of the oxygen and the group 13 element is 1.10 or more and 1.30 or less and a second region in which the element constitution ratio (oxygen/group 13 element) of the oxygen and the group 13 element is 1.40 or more and 1.50 or less in this order on the organic photosensitive layer, the second region being the top layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
