Abstract:
To provide a positively-charged toner that can secure a charge amount suitable for image formation while preventing the occurrence of image deletion, and an image forming apparatus and an image forming method that can form an image with a high image quality while preventing the occurrence of image deletion.SOLUTION: A positively-charged toner includes toner particles 10. The toner particles 10 each include a toner base particle, and an external additive attached to a surface of the toner base particle. The toner base particle contains a polyester resin having an acid value of 10.0 mgKOH/g or more, a compound containing a quaternary ammonium cation group, and strontium titanate particles. The external additive does not contain the strontium titanate particles. An image forming apparatus 100 comprises an image carrier 20, a developing device 13, and a transfer unit 23. The developing device 13 supplies the positively-charged toner including the toner particles 10 to an electrostatic latent image formed on a surface of the image carrier 20 and develops the electrostatic latent image as a toner image.
