To provide a post device wherein an actual collapse can be avoided even when a fundamental portion of the post is fractured, so as to obviate a serious accident and to assure safety.
Inside of a steel-made post 2 standing with a foundation 3 on a ground surface 1, an inner post 5 is arranged over the foundation 3 and the upper portion. An appropriate clearance G is provided between the outer periphery of the inner post 5 and the inner periphery of the post 2. When the fundamental part of the post 2 is corroded and broken, the inner post 5 supports the post 2 so as to prevent a collapse. In this case, the post 2 slightly tilts in accordance with the clearance G. Consequently, the fracture of the fundamental part of the post 2 can be judged objectively and also by the appearance.
