Abstract:
To provide a post-processing device and a recording system that enable post-processing to be suitably performed without replacing the post-processing device when a recording device is replaced with another one of a different recording system.SOLUTION: A controller obtains as information on a recording device: first information that can identify the recording system of the recording device to be an inkjet system; and second information that can identify the recording system of the recording device to be a laser system. The controller performs control on at least the post-processing based on whether the first information has been obtained or the second information has been obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
