Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device capable of preventing information leakage from a storage part of a sheet to be disposed of.SOLUTION: A post-processing device of an embodiment comprises an acquisition unit, a rupture unit, and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires position information of a storage part attached on a sheet. The rupture unit ruptures the storage part. The control unit operates the rupture unit based on the position information of the storage part acquired by the acquisition unit when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The rupture unit comprises a standby part, a folding part, and a sheet position adjustment mechanism. The standby part puts the sheet in standby. The folding part ruptures the storage part by saddle-folding the sheet. The sheet position adjustment mechanism moves the sheet positioned in the standby part so that a position of the storage part will be a position of the folding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
