Abstract:
To provide a post-processing device and a printing system which are capable of appropriately aligning media on which printing has been performed with liquid discharged by a liquid discharge part which a printing device comprises.SOLUTION: A post-processing device comprises: a conveyance path 17 for conveying a medium 50 on which printing is performed with liquid discharged by a liquid discharge part 27 which a printing device 13 comprises; an intermediate tray 210 on which the medium 50 conveyed by the conveyance path 17 is stacked; a first pull-in member 211 which starts first pull-in operation of pulling in the medium 50 toward the upstream direction of the conveyance direction; a rear-edge alignment part which aligns the rear edge of the medium 50 which has been pulled in; and a control part 250 which controls operation of the first pull-in member 211. The control part 250 is configured so as to restrict the first pull-in operation when a first accumulated number of rotations since the start of the first pull-in operation has reached a first required number of rotations which is required to align the rear edge of the medium 50 to the rear-edge alignment part. The control part 250 determines the first required number of rotations according to a condition of a parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
