Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method which is capable of attaining the result of sepn. at the lowest possible running temp. in the sump of a fractional distillation column and separates the hydrocarbon to be obtd. from the sump product of an extractive distillation column meeting kinds by using a low-pressure vapor for heating the fractional distillation column, thereby averting the high heat load of a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: Before the solvent taken out of the sump of the fractional distillation column 7 is resupplied to the extractive distillation column 2, the solvent is supplied into an evaporator 15 operated under a pressure P2 lower than the pressure P1 in the sump of the fractional distillation column. In this case, the vapor generated from the evaporator 15 is condensed, is captured and is returned into the fractional distillation column 7. The solvent is taken in a liquid state out of the sump of the evaporator and is resupplied into the extractive distillation column.
