Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture conversion device in which no wrinkle is generated on a bill on a posture conversion part, a posture of the bill is converted smoothly and bill can smoothly pass a bill discharge part.SOLUTION: A bill conversion device comprises a posture conversion part which receives a bill which is transported in a vertical posture, then converts the vertical posture of the bill into a lateral posture and transports, then discharges the bill in the lateral posture. The posture conversion part comprises: a first pulley which is rotated around a vertical axis by a drive part and a second pulley which is rotated around a horizontal axis; a transport belt which is stretched over the first pulley and the second pulley; and a posture conversion guide which extends along a transport plane of the transport belt, and converts the posture of the transported bill from a vertical posture to the lateral posture in coordination with the transport belt. The bill conversion device further comprises a protrusion part 25 for spreading the bill transported by the transport belt to both sides of a width direction, on a width direction center on a latter half part of a bill transport direction of the posture conversion guide 23, and a taper 25a on a front end of the protrusion part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
