Corona discharge is generated by high voltage applied from a high voltage generator 13 to an electrode pin 8 through an electrode rod 10 and a connecting pin 12 because of the potential difference between the electrode pin 8 and the can body 3. When the powder coating agent 17 is passed through the electric field, the powder coating agent 17 is charged statically to adhere to the can body 3. At that time, as the electrode pin 8 is disposed in a nozzle opening section 5, the powder coating agent 17 is charged sufficiently as the agent flows in the direction of moving forward.
