PURPOSE: To obtain the titled powder coating composition consisting of a double- layered particle having the inner layer consisting of a resin containing color pigment, extender pigment, metallic powder, additive, etc., and the outer layer consisting of a resin free from the above pigments, giving improved luster and definition and suitable for the coating of automobile, appliances, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The objective powder coating having double-layer structure is composed of (A) the inner layer consisting of a resin containing a color pigment, an extender pigment, metallic powder or an additive, etc., dispersed therein and (B) the outer layer consisting of a resin free from the above pigments. The particle diameter is preferably 1W120μm and the thickness ratio of the inner layer to the outer layer is preferably 1/99W99/1.
