PURPOSE: To paint a part of a base material to be painted simply with good efficiency, by heating the painting part of the base material to be painted and immersing said base material in an immersion tank of a powder paint while flatly leveling a paint layer at every one time.

CONSTITUTION: A powder paint coating apparatus is constituted of a heating part 20, a painting part 30, a holding member 40 and a transfer apparatus 50 and, in the painting part 30, the surface of the paint layer of an immersion tank 31 having a powder paint stored therein is flatly leveled by a leveling member 35 at every one time with respect to the painting part of a base material to be painted. By this method, partial painting for adhering the paint to only the painting part of the base material to be painted from the leveled surface of the paint layer is performed in an immersed state and therefore, partial painting can be performed accurately and beautifully.
