Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for accurately determining strength of powder such as a granule by a quick and simple method.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave is impressed on the powder of a strength determining object. Next, strength of the powder is determined by comparing information (a) on the grain size of the powder impressed with the ultrasonic wave with information (b) on the grain size of the powder held in advance. The information on the grain size includes various data such as the grain size distribution, the average particle size, a peak value of the grain size distribution, and a frequency of a particle having the prescribed grain size.
