Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conditioner capable of preventing breakage and failure of an internal semiconductor element when an improper connection occurs in installation work of a power generation system using an external DC power supply.SOLUTION: A power conditioner comprises an input terminal unit 10, a converter 11, and a current fuse 24 inserted in series between the input terminal unit 10 and the converter 11. The converter 11 connects an anode terminal of a first diode 11c to a connecting point between a reactor 11b and a switching element 11a, connects a cathode terminal of a second diode 11d to a connecting point between the reactor 11b and the switching element 11a, and connects the second diode 11d and the switch element 11a in parallel. The switch element 11a is a wide gap semiconductor element, and the second diode 11d is a semiconductor element made of silicon.
