To provide a simple and inexpensive power conversion means having a means of accumulating surplus electric power as thermal energy and making effective use of generated power without generating a reverse flow.
This power conversion device is configured of a high-frequency transformer 13 having a plurality of output means, a DC power source 11 connected to the primary winding 13a insulated by the high-frequency transformer 13, a first inverter 12 which converts the DC power 11 to high-frequency power, a first rectification means 15 connected to the secondary winding 13b of the high-frequency transformer 13, a second inverter 16 which injects an AC current to a system 17 composed of a plurality of switching elements, and a tertiary winding 13c of the high-frequency transformer 13. This device is configured to output the high-frequency power inputted from the primary winding 13a of the high-frequency transformer 13 to a system through the secondary winding 13b and to a heater 19 through the tertiary winding 13c.
