To provide a power conversion system in which when recovering one of two control devices from a stopped state, the control device is recovered in earlier timing, and the control device.SOLUTION: A power conversion system comprises: a main circuit unit which performs A/C conversion; and two control devices that control the operation of the main circuit unit and in which even in the case where one of them is stopped, operation of the main circuit unit is continued by the other control device. Each of the two control devices includes: a command value calculation section which calculates a DC power command value for making DC power closer to a target value of the DC power on the basis of the target value and a predetermined rate velocity; a communication section which enables a DC power command value of the other control device to be acquired; and a control section by which in the case of recovery from a state in which control relating to the operation of the main control unit is stopped to a state in which the control is performed, the DC power command value of the other control device is acquired via the communication section and a DC power command value calculated by the command value calculation section is matched with the DC power command value of the other control device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
