Abstract:
The invention relates to a power conversion device and an abnormality detection method. The abnormality of a DC voltage detector in the power conversion device can be properly detected. The power conversion device with a converter and an inverter is configured to have a smoothing capacitor; a DC voltage detector for detecting the potential difference of the smoothing capacitor; and an abnormalityjudger. The detection abnormality that detection values of any one of a DC voltage detector and a AC voltage detector change to a predetermined direction is first indexes changing in one direction; the detection abnormality that detection values of any one of the DC voltage detector and a second AC voltage detector change to a predetermined direction is second indexes changing in different directions; and based on the first indexes and the second indexes, the abnormality judger can judge abnormality happens in which DC voltage detectors.
