Abstract:
This power conversion device for power conversion of input power inputted as direct-current power and for output of output power comprises: an output power detection unit for detecting the output power; a plurality of power conversion circuit units for power conversion of the input power, the power conversion circuit units having mutually different input current ranges and having portions of overlap with neighboring input current ranges; and a power conversion control unit for selecting one power conversion circuit unit from among the plurality of power conversion circuit units, on the basis of the detection value from the output power detection unit, and controlling the maximum power point tracking for the one selected power conversion circuit unit.
