Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion that is able to cool a capacitor while preventing an increase in the number of components and an increase in weight.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 1 comprises: a first electronic component 14 including a semiconductor module 10; a cooler 20; a plurality of second electronic components 41a, 41b; and a housing 50. The cooler 20 comprises a refrigerant introducing passage, a refrigerant discharging passage, and an intermediate refrigerant passage. At least part of the intermediate refrigerant passage comprises a specific refrigerant passage 21a arranged between the area where the first electronic components 14 is arranged and the area where the second electronic components 41a, 41b are arranged. Examples of the second electronic components 41a, 41b are first capacitor and a second capacitor arranged side by side. The specific refrigerant passage is configured such that the refrigerant is able to circulate in a first direction Y in which the first and second capacitors are juxtaposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
