To provide a power device capable of preventing the incursion of rain water, earth and sand and dust or the like into an engine room from an exhausting opening section by a simple structure.
A cooling package 34 equipped with a cooling fan 33 is installed in a space surrounded by an upper shell structural object 31 such as an engine hood and a side door or the like and a lower shell structural object 32 such as a bottom plate of an engine room and a bottom guard or the like, and the engine room 37 having an engine 36 dividedly formed in a downstream side from the cooling package 34. Exhausting opening sections 42 and 43 exhausting a cooling wind supplied to the inside of the engine room 37 through the cooling package 34 by the cooling fan 33 are respectively provided to the shell structural objects 31 and 32 facing to the engine room 37, these exhausting opening sections 42 and 43 are shielded and, at the same time, shielding plates 51 and 53 opened by exhaust pressure from the engine room 37 are provided.
