To provide the power distribution tower incorporating a radio equipment in which repair and inspection is safely and easily conducted and which does not stand out apparently resulting in preventing mischief by utilizing an idle space in the inside of a top cover (roof) or the like of the power distribution tower as an installation location of a radio equipment (radio transmitter- receiver) such as a personal handy phone system(PHS).
A radio equipment 1 having a radio transmission reception section TRX, a transmission reception antenna ANT, a power supply section PS, and an interface circuit INF between a radio transmission reception section and a wired system network is built in a power distribution tower top cover PR of a power distribution tower main body 2. Furthermore, the power distribution tower top cover PR is made of a radio wave transmission body and fitted in an opening/closing enable way by an opening/closing mechanism such as a hinge to a top of the power distribution tower main body 2.
