PURPOSE: To provide the power feeding device for furniture for study with high safety and operability by providing a breaker for breaking power feeding when the power feeding exceeds maximum allowable power.

CONSTITUTION: A power feeding device C provided at any suitable position of furniture for study such as study desk so as to supply power to an illuminating instrument or electric equipment connected to a socket is provided with a breaker 16 and covers its front face with a control panel 3. Then, a recovery operating part 37 of the breaker 16 is positioned inside an opening 30 provided on the control panel, and this recovery operating part 37 is externally covered with an attachable/detachable or opening/closing protection cover 48.
