The toilet seat elevating and lowering device 1 of a sitting type stool is constituted of a supporting frame 2 for constituting the main body of the toilet seat elevating and lowering device 1, an elevating and lowering mechanism 3 connected to the supporting frame 2 and the toilet seat 4 attached to the elevating and lowering mechanism 3. By providing erected parts 13 erected upwards from the supporting frame 2, providing a holding member 20 for holding the power source line 19 of the toilet seat 4 on one of the erected parts 13 and turning the position of the holding member 20 to be near the intermediate height of a toilet seat elevating and lowering operation range, this power feeding structure 5 of the toilet seat elevating and lowering device is constituted.
