Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electric power generating equipment for motor vehicles capable of transmitting several types of control signals from an external controller to generator voltage control means for the generation control of the generating equipment by preventing an increase in the equipment scale and wiring scale without worsening the noise resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A power generating voltage controller 33 is normally arranged in one united body together with a generator 1 to maintain the generated voltage of the generator 1 to a predetermined target value. When transmitting a vehicle status signal from an external controller 7 to power generating voltage controller 33, the vehicle status signal is transmitted after converting it to binary pulse train signals, and the power generating voltage controller 33 retains the binary pulse train signals or signals decoded from this binary pulse until the next receiving. By doing this, a complicated power generating control can be made possible by a small burden in the quantity of communication.
