Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contrast medium injection system.SOLUTION: A contrast medium injection system can execute a patency check and/or test injection, and/or can determine a flow rate and/or a flow volume from a programmed protocol. For tubing for connecting a syringe to a patient, only a section, which is near the patient, is short, and is common, is shared. A suitable injection step can be taken to compensate for tubing elasticity. Wireless remote control and/or touch screen control is provided, and functionality and/or information distribution can be improved. Display luminance is controlled based on ambient light, a display panel can include a double swivel permitting re-orientation. Orientation of display can be controlled based on various factors. The display identifies a fluid type in the injector at both sides and provides color coding, and/or can be customized to provide a folder/tub for extracting an injection protocol parameter.
