To provide a power line carrier communication system which has a communication system, in which security is secured in each house without requiring special wiring and a communication system which is capable of being handled in common by each house from a building manager office, etc., in a power line carrier communication system for a multiple dwelling housing or non-dwellings subjected to a single-phase three-wire distribution.
In this power line carrier communication system, utilized in a multiple dwelling housing or non-residential building using a single-phase three-wire system consisting of a 1st power line, a 2nd power line and a neutral line, a signal interrupting means for selectively interrupting a communication carrier is arranged between the 1st power line and the neutral line of a distribution board provided in each house, and a carrier signal repeater for amplifying the communication carrier is arranged between the 2nd power line and the neutral line.
