To provide a power module that makes it possible to achieve size reduction and high productivity.
In an inverter module 150A, power switches Q3 to Q8 and diodes D3 to D8 constructing inverters 151 and 152 are regularly arranged. In the inverter 151, each power switch Q3 to Q8 is constructed of two IGBT elements connected in parallel and each diode D3 to D8 is constructed of one diode element. In the inverter 152, each power switch Q3 to Q8 is constructed of three IGBT elements connected in parallel and each diode D3 to D8 is constructed of one diode element. Each IGBT element and diode element are mounted over an insulating substrate 210, and are electrically connected with a P electrode 220, a N electrode 230, and an output electrode 240 formed over the insulating substrate 210 by wire bonding.
