Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in an electronic apparatus network, and a device and a method to identify the state of the electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An energy monitoring device is programmed so as to identify an electronic apparatus connected to a power supply and the state of the electronic apparatus, from change in a continuous measurement value of the power supply. An algorithm is provided which determines load signature of the electronic apparatus and its state. The apparatus and the state are identified using a table in which the load signature of the state is stored. Energy monitoring information is collected, displayed on a display device to a user, displayed on a remote display device, or transmitted to a remote device such as a personal computer, a mobile information terminal, an iPhone (TM), a mobile phone, a voice mail, an electronic mail, and a text message, through a network.
