Abstract:
To provide a power outage information providing system that allows anyone living in an area where power outage information needs to be known to hear power outage information accurately and adequately.SOLUTION: A power outage information providing system includes: a smart phone 5 having power outage information receiving means 51 for receiving power outage information and audio output means 52 for outputting the power outage information as audio; and a drone 4 having a control unit 42 that is placed at a predetermined location and manages its own flight, signals, and data communication, a detection unit 43 that detects that a power outage has occurred, and a transmission unit 44 that transmits power outage information about the power outage. The drone 4 is launched when the detection unit 43 detects a power outage, moves to a power outage area included in the power outage information, and transmits the power outage information from the transmission unit 44 to the smart phone 5. The smart phone 5 that has received the power outage information outputs the power outage information as audio from the audio output means 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
