Title:
POWER PLANT BY SUBTERRANEAN HEAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5672209
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce wetness around the last stage of a turbine by a method wherein a steam heater for heating steam from a steam generator is provided in a steam generating system which extracts steam from water heated by the subterranean heat. CONSTITUTION:The steam extracted from a subterranean heat well 1 through a steam separator 2 is flown into a high pressure part of a steam turbine 4. The hot water having come out of the steam separator 2 produces the secondary steam in a steam generating unit 3 and makes it flow into a low pressure part of the steam turbine 4 which is heated by the steam heater 6. The hot water in the steam generating unit 3 returns to a reducing well 5. The heat source of the steam heater 6 is led from the subterranean heat well 1 and flown into the steam generating unit 3. Thus, the wetness at a low pressure inlet of the steam turbine 4 is decreased and the wetness near the exhaust stage comes to small, so that the erosions of a nozzle and a moving vane can be prevented and the improvement in the internal efficiency of a turbine can also be planned.
