Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cope with an increase in a load at the time of starting a power plant system at a load side by using a rated rotary prime mover sufficient to supply grand total of maximum power in a load operating state and a power generator.
CONSTITUTION: A load 8 is connected to a power output line 5 from a synchronous generator 3 interlocked to be connected to a rotary prime mover 1. Power is independently supplied from a commercial power system to the load 8. An electric double layer capacitor set 13 is connected to the line 5 through a discharge inverter 12. When a frequency of the output power from the generator 3 becomes a set value or less, the inverter 12 is started to regenerate charged power of the set 13 to the line 15.
