A male connector 11 for connecting a cord 30 for supplying an electric power from an outer electric source 25 is disposed in the rear portion of the side cover 7a of the reel body 1. A protector 50 for covering the cord 30 connected to both the male connector 11 and a female connector 11 is mounted on the side cover 7a. The protector 50 is formed from a deformable and flexible synthetic resin. The protector 50 has a space therein, and further has an opening 51 allowing the insertion of the cord 30 on the other end side. The protector 50 is formed in a shape gradually expanded from the opening 51 to the portion covering the male connector 11. The outer peripheral surface of the protector 50 is formed in a smoothly curved surface along the outer shape of the side cover 7a, and the end portion of the protector 50 is smoothly connected to the outer peripheral surface of the side cover 7a.
