PURPOSE: To obtain a power saving effect even by any application by executing a releasing operation and resetting a count value at the time of generating an input in a data input means, and when the count value of a counting means reaches the fixed number of times, setting up a power saving mode.

CONSTITUTION: This power saving control system is provided with a data input means 1 and another device 2 and respective functions such as a power saving mode releasing part 4, an input data existence detecting frequency counting means 10, a power saving mode setting part 11 are connected between the side of the devices 1, 2 and an application operation processing part 12 to be an application program. When a measuring time exceeds a fixed time, data are inputted/outputted to/from a device other than the device 1, or an input is generated in the device 1, releasing operation is executed by the releasing part 4, the count value of the counting part 10 is reset, and when the count value of the counting part 10 reaches the fixed number of times, a power saving mode is set up by the setting part 11. Thereby a power saving effect can be obtained even at the time of actuating the application program.
