Title:
POWER-SAVING CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281770
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain optimum power-saving by deciding whether or not a power- saving mode is set for an object equipment based on the count value of a noise count means.
SOLUTION: A power-saving counter divides a memory area into Monday - Sunday, each weekday is divided, e.g. in the unit of 1 hour and the corresponding count value is stored. The count of the corresponding counter is stored. Whether or not the equipment is in standby is judged and when not in standby state, the state is made available and a power-saving control output is not set, and the power-saving mode is released. When the equipment being in standby state is judged, the count value of the power-saving power count corresponding to a current weekday and a current time is extracted and compared with a specified value. When the count value is larger than the specified value, a power-saving control output is active to set the mode to the power-saving mode and when the count value is smaller than the specified value, the power-saving control output is inactive and the mode is set to the usual mode. Optimum power saving is attained by using the power-saving counter.
