Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install a power shutoff device in a house at low cost by using a detecting part in detecting vibration or inclination of a case part, and operating a leakage generating part if the magnitude of it exceeds a predetermined value.
SOLUTION: A leakage current limiting part 30 comprises two resistances 36 each connected to a power terminal 14 at one end and two diodes 38 having respective anode terminals connected to the other ends of the resistances 36 and having their respective cathode terminals connected together. A leakage generating switch part 32 is formed using a phototriac, this triac part being interposed between the cathode terminal of the diode 38 and a grounding term inal 34. When the triac part is turned on, a current flows from the power terminal 14 to the terminal 34 via the limiting part 30. This current value is set at the value of the resistance 36, and a sensor 40 detects vibration or inclination of a case part 12. If the magnitude of it exceeds a predetermined value, the switch part 32 is operated by means of a driving circuit 42.
