Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the size and cost of a power source device for solid-state broadcasting equipment and to prevent broadcasting outage because of power voltage variations, by connecting DC stabilized power sources to a plurality of output voltage terminals of a power transformer respectively, and causing a control circuit to operate or stop operating the DC stabilized power sources in accordance with the detection results by a voltage detecting circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When a power voltage with variations within a specified range of power voltage variations is applied to a power transformer 1, both DC stabilized power sources 2-1 and 2-2 operate normally, and both outputs of transistor amplifiers 3-1 and 3-2 are multiplexed and outputted by a compounding device 4. Whereas, when high power voltage exceeding the specified range of power voltage variations is applied to the power transformer 1, a voltage detecting circuit 5-1 and a control circuit 6-1 connected to a secondary terminal 12 of the power transformer 1 make a DC stabilized power source 2-1 stop its operation. Besides, when low power voltage is supplied, a voltage detecting circuit 5-2 and a control circuit 6-2 connected to a secondary terminal 13 of the power transformer 1 make the DC stabilized power source 2-2 stop its operation.
